SPEVI has three Facebook groups.
- The general SPEVI Facebook Page under the expert editorship of Ben Clare and Yin Yin Htay. "Like" our page to keep up to date on what's happening in the field of vision education in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific region and around the world. We also encourage you to share your education related news by posting on our wall. The SPEVI Facebook page currently has over 500 followers.
- The second SPEVI Facebook page is called ‘Educators supporting students with V.I. in Maths’. It is moderated by Pranitha Moodley and Melissa Fanshawe and administered by Charlie Roberts. This Facebook page in Maths has more than 220 members and continues to grow. This group is private and was started in 2021 for teachers, support staff and parents to connect, collaborate and learn from each other. It is a SPEVI promoted page and is a forum for sharing information, news, opinions and discussions about teaching Maths and using Access Technology and graphics when teaching and supporting students that are blind or have low vision.
- The third SPEVI Facebook page is the SPEVI Deafblind Educators Community of Practice private Facebook group
Initiated in 2025 and moderated by Julie Tait, this private group has evolved from the SPEVI Deafblind Education Community of Practice.
