You are encouraged to share information and ideas with your SPEVI colleagues. SPEVI List The general SPEVI email list is open to any professionals, families and caregivers who wish to share and receive information about education of children and young people with vision impairment. ICEVI-SPEVI List The ICEVI-SPEVI list is open to anyone who is interested in Pacific and international activities in the fields of disability and vision impairment. Membership Type Category 1 - General Member $110.00 AU; Free for Pacific Islanders This category of membership is open to educators, allied professionals and parents/caregivers who support and promote education for persons with vision impairment. Membership entitles members to discounted registration at SPEVI conferences and a single vote at meetings. Category 2 - Qualified Specialist Teacher (Vision Impairment) plus Professional Learning $150 AU This category of membership is open to specialist teachers with tertiary qualifications in education of persons with vision impairment, and who complete a mandatory minimum requirement of 15 hours of professional learning in vision impairment every two years. Members are entitled to discounted registration at SPEVI conferences and a single vote a meetings. Professional learning may include face-to-face or online lectures, workshops and courses, and engagement in accredited professional learning events. Category 3 - Associate Member $50 AU; This category of membership is open to parents or caregivers of individuals with vision impairment, school ancillary staff and volunteers, and students completing studies in vision impairment. Associate membership entitles members to discounted registration at SPEVI conferences and a copy of SPEVI’s annual journal. Associate members are not entitled to vote at meetings.
